Vowels:
ä is pronounced as e in brother (IPA ə)
ə is pronounced as ɨ (a high schwa ə or New Zealand i)

Consonants:
' makes the consonant ejective, forceful with a very strong puff of air (as if "spat" out)ch is pronounced as ch as in church (tʃ)
j is pronounced as j as in judge (dʒ)
ñ is pronounced as ny as in canyon (ɲ)
sh is pronounced as sh as in shop (ʃ)
